I haven’t been to Mystery House since I was probably in 1st grade. But my boyfriend has been in San Jose for eight years and has never been, so we decided to check it out.
We did the mansion tour, there are a few others you can take. (No pictures inside the mansion.)
It is a interesting story. Though I do not wish to have Mrs. Winchester’s pain, one day it would be nice to have as much money as she had. Holy Bejesus.
Whether you think she was crazy or there were actual spirits, it’s something interesting to think about.
Your ticket also gives you admission to their rifle museum, gift shop and gardens.
One of California’s historical landmarks, if you are in San Jose and have some time, it’s something to check out. But go to Groupon first for discounted tickets.
Also, there is no new discovered room that you may have heard about. That was a hoax.
You can make a day of it and head over to Santana Row across the street and grab a bite to eat, people watch, or if you can afford it, there is always shopping.
The shirt is a light material with cute shoulder cut outs, perfect for California’s attempt to transition to Fall. And I just love these flats from DSW. They came with two different laces and just seem to dress up any outfit.
